Amish country in Ohio is the nation’s
largest Amish settlement and home to
many Amish craftspeople, shops and
more. The small Amish towns are a
must see for any Amish country visit.
Amish country in northern Indiana is
another quaint Amish community
stretched out over two counties.
Amish country in Lancaster, PA is probably the most well known of Amish communities. Lancaster
County is not only known as Amish country, but Pennsylvania Dutch country, as well. Like Holmes
County, Lancaster is a place where life moves at a slower pace with beautiful scenery, and small Amish
towns of Pennsylvania. In southern and western part of the area, the landscape is more hilly and
scenic. The quiet community is also near Hershey Park in nearby Hershey, PA.
Located in Elkhart and LaGrange counties, one will find idyllic
countryside and small, friendly Indiana Amish towns, such as
Middlebury, Shipshewana and Nappanee.
